How can I pass AC plug electricity to an alarm that work when someone calls to my home phone?

Now I do not have the home phone just got cell phone, computer and Internet. I'm not thinking about any kind of pay above weaking service. My cell phone has an alarm but it is not enough. I have a timer that can be connected to an AC plug. Basically I need a converter for the electricity from the CA Phone electricity, and where can I find out what the name.
