Why do we need to bail out the big three auto companies? How about they stop making crappy ass cars instead?

I 'm so sick of governemnt that provides assurance to companies and are now talking of fighting that offers security to the three big auto companies. He is getting what Ford, GM and Chrysler to make the bad ass, unreliable cars. Hey government, instead of offering automotive warranty, why not offer warranty isntead the American people? Write to every American a check for $ 5,000 instead. Companies need to be taken accountable for their actions.
